In its fourth season, the Florence Farmers Market has been in planning since April 2017, and is a result of the community-led Local Foods Initiative of the Siuslaw Vision. A dedicated group of volunteers developed this nonprofit Market with a goal of increasing awareness and access to local foods for Siuslaw residents, and supporting regional farm and food businesses to promote overall community health.
