Siuslaw Family Connections and Siuslaw Vision Seek Local Input on Child Care Needs
Siuslaw Region of West Lane County, OR – Siuslaw Family Connection and Siuslaw Vision are inviting community members to take part in an important survey to help improve child care support and resources in the Siuslaw region. As part of a collaborative effort involving parents, community leaders, providers, and key organizations, the survey aims to better understand the current child care needs, preferences, and challenges faced by local families and peoples. Your participation in this anonymous survey will provide valuable insight into the specific needs for child care services in our community, including quality, affordability, and support. This information will be used to help guide efforts to create solutions that meet the needs of families in the Siuslaw region this year.
“It’s no secret that finding an opening in a quality and affordable child care program is like finding a needle in a haystack for families in our community. We are on a mission to change that and focused on finding child care solutions! We ask that everyone shares their thoughts, experiences and needs, as you are instrumental in helping us create a plan that truly meets the needs of our community in regards to child care”, said Jenn Lukashev, an active member of Siuslaw Family Connections and an in-home child care provider. In addition to sharing feedback on child care, participants will have the opportunity to enter a drawing for a FLOCAL e-gift card to use at local businesses. At the end of the survey, respondents can also opt to provide their contact information for future updates or to learn how they can help bring more child care opportunities to the Siuslaw community.
