Mapleton, OR — 06/28/26 — Mapleton Community School invites students, families, staff, and community members to attend its upcoming 2026 Upriver Farmers Market season, featuring fresh, locally grown food, local vendors, and student learning
The market will take place every other Friday from 2 pm – 6 pm between Friday, July 3rd, and Friday, September 25th at the Mapleton High School, 10868 E Mapleton Rd, Mapleton, OR 97453. Admission is free and open to the public.
Supporting Mapleton Community School’s Garden Project-Based Learning (PBL) program, the Upriver Farmers Market provides students with hands-on experiences that connect classroom learning to real-world applications. Through the school garden and market, students explore agriculture, environmental stewardship, nutrition, entrepreneurship, and community engagement while developing valuable leadership and career-ready skills.
Visitors can shop for fresh fruits and vegetables, baked goods, crafts, jewelry, and other locally produced items from area vendors. The market is proud to accept SNAP/EBT benefits, helping make healthy, locally grown food more accessible to all members of the community.
In addition to shopping, guests can enjoy children’s activities, learn about community resources, and participate in the occasional workshop led by students and local vendors.
