Florence Festival of Books on Saturday the 26th of September!

Prepare yourself (with notebook, pens, laptop, wallet, large shopping bags, and your enthusiasm!) for a day devoted to books, reading, learning, audio recording, and connecting with other bibliophiles.

The Florence Arts, Culture & Entertainment (FACE) Team proudly presents the 15th Annual Florence Festival of Books — all in one day on Saturday, September 26th! Come meet local and regional authors, discover new books and genres, learn about hybrid/ indie/ DIY publishing, record and take home a two-minute audio piece, and become part of Florence’s vibrant coastal writing community.

Admission: $3 for Expo Hall only, $5 for All-Access (includes workshops and speakers). Students 18 and under get in free — parents/ guardians with students get in free as well!

The schedule is chockablock with fascinating writers/ artists/ readers who will motivate and amaze you. From Siuslaw Middle School students — Ned Hickson’s “Plot Twisters” sharing their writing in public for the first time, to Rose Estes, author of the first nine books of the Dungeons & Dragons® ’ “Endless Quest” series — you’ll hear thrilling stories and ideas that will inspire you long after the festival ends.
