The Good Deed Project – Community Care
The Good Deed Project

Soup in containers ready to be distributed to community members

Warm soup ready to be distributed to community members

The Good Deed project includes the Soup Brigade, a volunteer-led project that delivers homemade soup and bread to elderly and at-risk community members.

The organization also gathers and distributes medical equipment, wheelchairs, walkers, knee scooters, crutches, etc.

Volunteers welcome!

The Soup Brigade is looking for people to volunteer to bake rolls, biscuits, or corn muffins to send out with the soup delivery. They also need volunteers to visit elderly people, who are unable to get out and socialize within the community. If you’d be interested in spending an hour or two a week visiting someone who would appreciate a friendly visit, this is another great way to help right here, close to home. If anyone is interested in volunteering for the Good Deed Project, please call Cindy Brent Wobbe’s estate sale store at. 541-997-7766 or email us at florencecommunitycare@gmail.com.
