Community members and local employers are invited to participate in Bridge Lane Florence, a free career and resource fair designed to connect people to jobs, training, and essential services in one welcoming space.

The event will take place Thursday, April 23, from 3:00–6:00 pm at the Florence Events Center. Bridge Lane brings together hiring employers, education and workforce training providers, and community resource organizations to help individuals and families take the next step toward stability and opportunity. Attendees can explore job openings, learn about training programs, and connect with services supporting housing, food, childcare, healthcare, transportation, technology, and more.

The event is intentionally scheduled after school and work hours and is family-friendly, with free snacks, activities for children, and a low-pressure environment. No resume or preparation is required.

“Bridge Lane is about making opportunity feel possible,” said a representative from Collaborative Economic Development Oregon.
“People can show up as they are, explore options, and connect with both employers and the resources that make work possible.”

Employers are encouraged to participate in this no-cost opportunity to connect directly with local job seekers. Bridge Lane attracts individuals actively seeking entry-level, part-time, full-time, and training-supported positions, along with those exploring career pathways and workforce programs. Organizers handle outreach, marketing, and event logistics, making participation simple and effective.

Bridge Lane has served more than 1,000 participants across Lane County, reaching a broad cross-section of the community, including working families, students, veterans, and individuals navigating career transitions.
