Dahlias are delightful in the Siuslaw region
Please join the Siuslaw Chapter of the American Rhododendron Society for a presentation on Dahlias by Dan Green. Multitalented Green has been an Aerospace Engineer, Construction manager, and started Dan’s Dahlia’s while living in Cornelius, OR. He had to stop when he took a job in France. After retirement, he moved to Florence and found the weather and soil favorable for Dahlias as well as our beloved rhododendrons. Dahlias with their diverse colors, sizes, shapes, and long season can be excellent companions to rhododendrons.
