Hungry eaters on the coast can browse the best of the abundance grown and produced in the region at the Port of Siuslaw Boardwalk every Tuesday in old town Florence.

The boardwalk will transform into a vibrant marketplace featuring fresh produce, meat, eggs, baked goods, plant starts and much more – all grown or produced within 100 miles.

Florence Farmers Market is seeing big growth this season, and opening day will showcase 19 local vendors, including long term favorites and new exciting small food businesses. The full vendor line up for each market day is announced through the market’s newsletter, facebook, and instagram.

The kids program has expanded for the 2026 season. Children and youth up to age 16 can now receive a $5 token at the info booth to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables. “This program has been a hit with families in previous years. It is just amazing seeing kids excitedly pick out something good to eat. We are grateful for our partnership with non-profit HUB541, which allows us to expand from age 12 up to age 16 this season” says Linea, Market Director.

Market regulars may notice a new face at the boardwalk on opening day, as the market welcomes new Market Manager Will. In the music tent it will be a recognizable face, as Sunny Sundstrom returns to the market to share his tunes and spread smiles.

As always, the market will match SNAP spent at the market with up to $20 of Double of Food Bucks which can be spent on fresh produce at the market, supplementing monthly food budgets and increasing access to fresh, local food.
