Free Online Parent Groups Help Families Prepare Young Children for School Success

Eugene, OR — The Oregon Social Learning Center is excited to announce our Fall 2025 KITS At Home parent groups dates. These free, virtual groups are designed for caregivers of children ages 4 to 6 and offer a supportive space to connect, share experiences, and learn practical strategies for preparing children for school.
Led by experienced facilitators, the KITS At Home groups focus on:
- Helping children follow directions and cooperate
- Supporting learning at home
- Building skills for school success
- Strengthening everyday parenting tools and routines
- Taking care of yourself as a parent
Groups begin October 21st and run through December 16th, meeting weekly in the evenings to accommodate busy family schedules. Participants can earn up to $50 and have a chance to win more!
“We know that parenting young children can be both joyful and challenging,” said a KITS Program Coordinator. “These groups give families a chance to learn from one another, build confidence, and feel more prepared for the transition to school.”
Registration is now open. To sign up or learn more, email kits@oslc.org or visit www.oslc.org/kits.
