Siuslaw Vision received an exciting update from Juels at Memory Care Respite on April 3! We’re excited to see the community support this important organization in our community. If you’re interested in a future board position, please get in touch with them.
Thank you Florence area for stepping up to keep our doors open at Memory Care Respite of Florence! Last night we elected enough board members to fill the vacant officers positions. We welcome Sandy Kuhlman, interim President, Connie Ford, Secretary, Karen Gassaway, Treasurer and Harmony Kennedy to the fold. MCRF will hold board elections again in June so please consider joining this very important organization which provides a valuable service to the Florence Area through Coffee Club, our adult day program for people living with dementia as well as respite to the loved ones caring for them. Please don’t let this Florence non-profit close! Memory Care Respite of Florence has been serving the Florence Area for over 31 years. Our mission is twofold. We enrich the lives of person’s living with dementia through our adult day program called Coffee Club and we provide quality, affordable respite care for family members caring for a loved one living with dementia.
2025 has brought a cascade of changes to our board members lives and they are no longer able to serve their community. Can you step up? We are looking for a president, secretary, treasurer and general members. We have a dedicated executive director who just needs your oversight and vision. Please submit a letter of intent by April 2nd if you would like to join this worthwhile organization.
