Siuslaw PlayShop – Let’s Get Outside
Siuslaw Vision is partnering with Florence Oregon Area Kayakers (FOAK) to bring the second annual Siuslaw PlayShop to the Florence area on Friday, May 2, 2025, at Darlings Marina and RV Park. The Siuslaw PlayShop is NOT an ordinary workshop.
11am – 2pm: Paddling Demo Day:
You and your kids can try out a kayak or paddleboard from Oregon Paddle Sports. Vendors and speakers will share water adventure topics and skills.
2-4pm: Community Paddle or e-Bike:
Some boats available from OPS, rent one from Darlings or bring your own as we explore Siltcoos Lake. Plus Florence e-Bike is offering a group ride from Darlings Marina.
4-6pm: Community Picnic:
Bring your chairs or picnic blanket. We’ll have 100 hot dog meals to give away, and Darlings restaurant will be open for business.
