Siuslaw Public Library seeks community input on future plans
The Siuslaw Public Library is asking for the community’s help as they plan for the future this spring. Community members can take a survey about library services, attend a Town Hall about the community’s hopes and dreams for the future, or participate in a conversation with library staff.
The library survey is open until April 6 on the library’s planning website: https://www.siuslawlibraryplan.org/
The survey takes about 10 minutes to complete and asks questions about your library use or non-use and what services you’d like to see in the future. For those who prefer a paper copy, surveys are available at the Florence or Mapleton locations. The survey is available in English and Spanish.
Also on the planning website, sign up to receive additional details about the planning process, including the times and dates of upcoming town hall events and the big reveal when the plan is complete.
“The library belongs to everyone,” said Library Director Meg Spencer. “We need you to help shape the vision of what the next chapters look like for Siuslaw Public Library.”
For more information, please email SiuslawLibraryPlan@siuslawlibrary.org, call the library at 541-997-3132, or stop by the Florence or Mapleton locations.
