SIUSLAW VISION WELCOMES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Siuslaw Vision is happy to introduce our new Executive Director – Will Acosta! Originally from Floresville, Texas, Will studied Music Education at Texas State University, where he developed a passion for community engagement and collaboration. Before joining Siuslaw Vision, Will held leadership roles with the Keepers of Heceta Head Lightstation, managing visitor programs, fundraising, events, volunteer coordination, and community partnerships at the historic Heceta Head Lighthouse.

“Will understands what we’ve always believed at Siuslaw Vision: that strong communities are built one relationship at a time, through collaboration and shared purpose” says Neil Ecker, Siuslaw Vision’s Board President. “His instinct for bringing people together is exactly what this work needs, and the board is excited to have him leading us as we keep strengthening Western Lane County.”

Will’s experience in nonprofit operations and community-building has shaped his commitment to advancing inclusive, community-led initiatives that support the long-term vitality of the Siuslaw region. He is passionate about bringing people together to address local challenges and create opportunities that benefit the broader community. As Executive Director, he works to strengthen partnerships, support resident-led solutions, and help build a thriving future for the Siuslaw region.
