Are you interested in opening a family child care program or a child care center in Florence and the Siuslaw region? Or maybe you have always wanted to work in a preschool or child care program? Being a child care provider and early educator is a rewarding career with many benefits! The City of Florence, Siuslaw Vision, and Onward Eugene (plus support from many others!), in partnership with Quality Care Connections (QCC), Lane County’s child care resource agency, are working together to create, promote, and facilitate a unique, FREE training program to support community members that want to be child care providers and early educators. Through in-person and online classes and webinars, hands-on coaching, and resource navigation, you will be supported in opening a child care program in as few as six months!
